The Carbon Removal Readiness Assessments (CRRA) project, launched by Carbon Gap, is working to determine CO2 removal potential in five new EU countries. The initiative aims to assess the feasibility and scalability of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies in these nations to help advance the EU’s climate goals.
CRRA will evaluate the technical, economic, and policy landscapes to identify opportunities and challenges for implementing CDR solutions. The project’s findings are expected to inform national strategies and support the integration of CDR into broader climate mitigation efforts across the participating countries.
